HOW I BULLET JOURNAL
11:45
After finishing my undergraduate degree I have found that for me the best way to stay organised is through bullet journaling. This post is going to showcase how I set up my bullet journal for a new month and a general weekly spread layout I tend to use! I'll also include some shots of me actually using this journal so that you can see how it works for me. I first came across bullet journaling on tumblr, and it has honestly changed my life and made me a much, much more organised person. If you're like me and like crossing things of to-do lists - then this method will definitely work for you!
For my journal I use a Moleskine squared notebook - just because I find it easier to write more neatly on squared paper than lined. You can use any notebook you feel comfortable with - I sometimes even use my tiny diary that I bought from Poundland to carry around with me in my bag on a daily basis. I definitely do not follow the generic bullet journal set up which usually includes an index page and key as I find that I constantly change the way in which I use this method as my style of organisation evolves, and I hate being confined to certain pages. In a way I use my journal as a stream of consciousness! I tend to set up a monthly page at the beginning of each month as I find this to be an easy way to remember dates and any big deadlines coming up. On the page opposite this I also set up monthly goals, these can be anything from weight loss to savings or reading certain books:

After these two pages I jump straight into my weekly spreads, taking up two whole pages I start to map out my week, leaving room for any additional tasks, thoughts or events that pop up during the week. I also like to keep a habit tracker, this is completely personal to me and includes things like cleaning, drinking water, taking my makeup off etc. If there's enough space I like to add a little inspirational quote or a doodle here and there too.
Another thing I use my journal for is planning! I LOVE writing lists, I'll make lists of things I need to pack, books I need to read, makeup I want to buy - the list is endless (see what I did there). It just so happens I am off to my boyfriends this week (in fact I'm there right now) so I can show you a very recent list of things I needed to pack! Whilst I was in uni I would use these type of pages to plan out essays, revision topics and lecture notes. I lived within my bullet journal and it helped me gain myself a cheeky (ew) first class degree! This technique is definitely worth trying as it has definitely worked for me,
Hopefully you found this bullet journal post helpful and hopefully it helps you in your organisation. Bullet journals are personal to everyone, so do not take this post as gospel, have a look round, do your research and have fun with your journal! I love mine and I'm so glad I discovered this technique when I did.
How do you like to stay organised? Let me know in the comments I'm always looking for new ideas!

I love it! I constantly use organisers and notebooks to keep myself organised! Right now im using the organiser for my weekly overview and my notebook for my weekly to do lists! I cant leave my house without them! Especially my notebook since I always have blog and video ideas at the most random times! Loves xox

DeleteBullet journaling seems to be the new thing to do and I missed the memo! Thanks for sharing this. I just like to make a hand written calendar to schedule some things out so I hopefully don't forget them.
