A WEEK IN NORTH WALES

08:00

In my most recent post I told you of how I went to my boyfriends house for a week to take my mind off the impending doom that is adulthood (you can read about this here). I love going to my boyfriends house, he lives in Snowdonia and it's just so picturesque. Granted I got dragged up a mountain and actually fell in a river during my week there - but it was such a good week in which we just hung out, met some more of his family, barbecued drank and walked about a bit. Standard.

When we visit his home, we both tend to eat out a lot - even though we definitely probably can not afford it! We started our time in Wales with a meal at Hebog, a lovely restaurant within his village, as it was his sisters twentieth birthday. The food was delicious and so filling the trifle was a real highlight for me. Unfortunately I didn't get any photographs from this evening! We also ate out in Criccieth at Codwalders ice cream, Costa in Porthmadog and a cafe owned by his family! They make the best sticky toffee pudding ever! I love going to north wales, if anything but for the food! It is all just so delicious in comparison to the usual take away, freezer food and beans diet that I was on whilst at uni, don't judge me okay! Even the buffet food at his cousins wedding was incredible! I would kill for another piece of lasagna, I really, really would!

My favourite part of the week had to be the wedding, more specifically the photobooth, we went in a grand total of three times, and I'm looking forward to getting the full sized scanned images off of my boyfriend some time in the next week, but for now a photograph of a photograph will do. As you can tell, I've got my photbooth skills down to a T!

Have you guys ever been to North Wales - and do you like it? Have you been on any relaxing breaks lately? Let me know in the comments!
